About the Wave

Chacala is well known for being one of the best left waves around the bay. With strong and long wall, it's a paradise for goofy footers. It's a 2 hours and a half drive from Nuevo Vallarta and then you take a water taxi to the break.

Long, peeling lefts that just keep giving. Chacala is a road trip — but the reward is one of the longest, cleanest left walls in Mexico. Bring water, snacks, and a goofy stance ready to lay rail.
